About Jayne – Founder of Dynamic Representations
I’m Jayne, the founder of Dynamic Representations and School Improvement Director for Mathematics at Tove Learning Trust. I’ve worked in senior and middle leadership for over twenty years across Milton Keynes and the West Midlands, with a focus on raising attainment and improving the quality of maths education.
I’ve spent more than a decade working with the NCETM on research-informed curriculum and lesson design, including ten years as a Teaching for Mastery Specialist. In April 2025, I received a Let Teachers Shine Grant to develop Dynamic Representations—a digital platform that brings maths concepts to life through interactive tools like Dienes blocks and algebra tiles.
I’m passionate about helping all learners build deep, connected understanding in mathematics, and I believe that through collaboration and great teaching we can create inspiring learning experiences for every student.
Grant funding
We fund promising innovations to address educational challenges. We use grant funding to unlock potential among teachers who otherwise struggle to find the time to develop new practice or to share their ideas. More than half of SHINE funds support teachers’ time directly, with technology, resources and evaluation costs being the key other cost items. We specialise in backing early-stage ideas, and we help support the most promising programmes on a journey to scale. We also nurture collaborations between schools which enable them to tackle shared challenges and address local barriers to attainment.
